Study Visit by International Finance Corporation (IFC) and World Bank
CGC’s President/CEO, Datuk Mohd Zamree Mohd Ishak, hosted a study visit for the representatives from International Finance Corporation (IFC) and World Bank at Bangunan CGC in Kelana Jaya on 24 May 2022. Country Manager, Brunei, Malaysia and Singapore, Mr Nicolas Marquier and Senior Country Officer, Brunei, Malaysia and Singapore, Ms Anna Ng Li San represented IFC. Whereas, Senior Financial Sector Specialist, Mohamed Rozani Mohamed Osman and Consultant, Ahmad Hafiz Abdul Aziz represented the World Bank. The visit focused on IFC understanding CGC’s guarantee products/facilities, as both parties explored potential collaboration to support Malaysian SMEs by providing them trade financing and risk-sharing facilities.
