KLANG, 20 December – Credit Guarantee Corporation Malaysia Berhad (CGC) brought Christmas joy to over 40 residents of the Good Samaritan Home on Wednesday, 19 November 2018. The annual Christmas corporate responsibility programme was attended by CGC Management and staff.
The Good Samaritan Home was established in January 1999 by Mr. Albert Ong and currently has 35 children aged between 4 years to 22 years old. The children this Home include orphans and are from broken homes, and they are by nine (9) caretakers.
CGC made cash contributions to the Home and gifted the children with a festive cash token. During the half day event, CGC staff joined the children and decorated the Home and became their Christmas carollers for the day. In return, the children put up an entertaining performance for the guests. Everyone enjoyed lunch and cakes before posing for group photography.
As a multi–racial and multi-cultural society, the nation’s diversity is reflected in the many festivals celebrated, fostering greater ties among Malaysians. CGC takes pride in its corporate responsibility programmes. Caring for the underprivileged is a CGC way of giving back to the society.
